Due February 27, 2016, Lyla and Leighton dramatically entered this world ten-weeks premature on December 18, 2015. Lyla made her debut at 11:34p: Leighton arrived at 11:35p. Lyla was discharged from Akron Childrens NICU on February 12, 2016, and Leighton joined her at home March 20. Altogether, the family spent the first 94 days of their children's lives at the hospital.

I, of course, rushed over on March 21 to cuddle with and take photos of these beautiful girls who bring so much joy to their parents, grandparents, and aunts and uncles (and I'm sure everyone else who knows them). Their best bud and guard dog, Charlie, made sure to jump into a few photos.
