I've been wanting to shoot engagement pictures in the snow for a long time. Lucky for me, Ashley and Joel wanted to invite their guests to "save-the-date" with a snowy Christmas card. Combine that with a November snowstorm that dumped a few inches on Ohio, and we were set to capture this beautiful series of photos.

Of course, we also had to get the couple indoors after making them (and Scarlet) endure below freezing temperatures and snow for our first shoot, so we took photos of the couple in their home as well. Built in the early 20th-century, the couple has been working toward their plans to return the home to its former glory--which makes it perfect for pictures.
